I wanted a chair to rise to over 55cm and so there had been few possibilities. But the Somerset appears nicely built and is particularly comfortable. As yet another reviewer commented the chair does rock slightly when in the locked position it didn't bother me but it may if you wanted a rock solid chair. Fairly simple to assemble I found a drop of three in 1 oil on the threads of the bolts applied to fix the chairs created assembly substantially much easier.
I owned one of these chairs and have observed it sold under A number of NAMES.
I purchased it for the metal arm rests which could possibly last a life time.
However, the screw in points on the seat component of the chair might possibly be produced to Appear heavy duty but Just after THEY BREAK you uncover that the "cast iron" screw holes are held in place by FLIMSY "foil thickness" latches. I'm positive you get the concept.
...and as the whole chair is held together at these points, when they break, the chair is useless.
I have kept the arms and employed them on other seats...
...but I didn't spend money for a pair of lengthy lasting arm rests!
